What different types of fabric do you offer for roller blinds?
We've got a brilliant range of fabrics to choose from! For your bedroom, our blackout fabrics will give you complete darkness helping you get a good night's sleep. For the living room, you might like our more sheer options that filter bright sunlight while still giving you privacy.
Can you show me the difference between your regular blinds and blackout options?
Absolutely! When we visit for your free consultation we'll bring several fabric options for you to take a look at so you can find the right fabric for each room.
Do you offer roller blinds for kitchens?
Yes, we do! Our moisture-resistant fabrics are brilliant for kitchens. They're specially treated to handle steam and kitchen splashes, plus they're really easy to wipe clean. We use high-quality materials that won't warp or discolour so your roller blinds are built to last.
Will blackout roller blinds completely block out all the light?
Our blackout roller blinds block nearly all light making them perfect for people who need to sleep during the day or children's rooms. Our perfect fit service helps reduce gaps around the blinds to reduce light entering around the edges of the blinds.
How do you measure for roller blinds?
Don't worry about measuring your windows, that's all part of our service! When we come out for your consultation, we'll measure everything and show you the best fitting options for each window. All you need to do is try and make sure the windows are accessible and clear of any furniture that might be in the way.
Will roller blinds work in bay windows?
We fit roller blinds in bay windows regularly. We can either fit individual blinds in each section of the bay, or depending on your preference, we might suggest other options that work well with the angles. When we visit for our consultation, we'll talk you through all the options for your bay window so you can choose the right blinds for you.
How do I clean my roller blinds?
Roller blinds are really easy to keep clean. For regular cleaning, just use a clean cloth or your vacuum cleaner with the brush attachment to pick up any dust. For any marks or stains, a damp cloth with a bit of mild soap usually does the trick.
What are motorised blinds? Do you need to run cables? How do they work?
Our motorised blinds need no cables needed! They run on rechargeable batteries, so there's no wiring or electrical work required. They're controlled by remote, smartphone app, or can be integrated with smart home systems. Really simple to use and perfect for hard-to-reach windows.
Which type of roller blinds would work best in a child's bedroom?
For children's bedrooms, I'd recommend our blackout roller blinds. As with all of our blinds we can also fit them so cords are always safely out of reach.
